Intellectual Property

RTH has developed intellectual property (IP) over the years in the forms of issued patents, patent applications and company secrets. Because RTH has chosen not to manufacture products, we are licensing and selling our IP and will work with companies to transition our technologies. Some of our patents have already been licensed to major manufacturers. All  patents and applications described here have been at least filed with the USPTO. A number of them have associated foreign filings and continuations.

Many of the patented RTH technologies were developed under US government SBIR contracts, and RTH gratefully acknowledges the support of the US Navy (NAVAIR), US Air Force (AFRL), National Institutes of Health (NIDCD), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the US Army (USAMRMC). RTH enjoys the benefits of SBIR data rights and sole source rights associated with the SBIR program that may be transferred to companies licensing our IP.

Please see our web site pages for detailed descriptions of RTH IP, some of which are listed under multiple headings. For example, there is an ANC patent listed under both Active Noise Control and Hear-Through Systems.
