Eartip With Tether

An embodiment of this invention is an eartip with a tether or leash for use with communications earplugs. Eartips are often made of slow-recovery foam, rubber-flanged or other types. Eartips attach to earplugs to provide an acoustic seal between the ear canal and the earplug. When earplugs are removed from the ear, sometimes the eartip pulls off and remains in the ear canal. This invention provides a tether or leash that the user pulls to remove the eartip, facilitating easier retrieval of an eartip.
